Our compliance team will conduct an audit call to ensure that the commitments made by your travel advisor at the time of booking are genuine.

Please note that as most of our bookings are done via email in the backend, you will not receive hotel and activity vouchers.

Additionally, we will not provide email proofs for your reservations due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) between respective partners and BalmyTrip. Instead, you will receive a trip schedule with all the relevant information related to your journey.

The trip schedule will be sent anywhere from 24 hours to seven days before your trip departure date.

Our post-booking support service is usually created within 24 to 48 hours after the first payment.

The word “complementary” means “free”. These services are provided for free in few Turkey packages to make our product unique.

Please note that BalmyTrip Holidays does not charge anything for these complimentary services.

Removing these services from your package does not entitle you to any discounts. Even if you choose to skip, remove, or customize any of the complimentary services, there will be no discounts, refunds, or compensation in any of the packages.

In case you are unable to avail of any of these services for any reason, there will be no refunds or compensation.

If you do not like any of the complimentary services, there will be no compensation, alternative arrangements, or refunds.

If you miss any of the complimentary services due to flight delays, ferry delays, weather conditions, health concerns, or personal concerns, you are not entitled to any alternative arrangements or refunds.

Sometimes, a visa may be rejected by the Turkish Embassy. These possibilities are exceedingly rare and have only occurred with 0.2% of our past travelers. In the unfortunate event that this happens to you, we will do our best to assist you and provide the necessary support.

We are the only travel company offering a policy to prevent big costs if your visa is canceled. The coverage is only INR 6,500, and if your visa is rejected, we will give you back 75% of the trip cost, excluding the Turkish Visa Fee, BT Visa filing fee, and Travel Insurance fee.

Turkey is an Islamic country. Please offer due respect when entering mosques and places of worship.

Hagia Sophia is no longer a house of worship, but the Blue Mosque is an active mosque, and respect must be given. Whether it’s a sarong or scarf, bring something to cover your head when entering a mosque. Make sure it’s big enough to prevent you from having to borrow the ones they loan out.

You may face communication issues in English, so please speak slowly, and download a language translator app. God bless technology.

Be prepared to manage your luggage on your own, as you may be required to load it into the car during airport pick-up, drop-off, and while entering the hotel.

Tipping is expected in Turkey, and it is generally acceptable to leave a 10-15% tip on your restaurant bill. If you are taking a guide for trips, USD $3-$6 per day of your tour leader is recommended.

In an emergency, you can contact the services by calling 112. Alternatively, you can call the emergency services directly by calling 155 (police), 112 (ambulance), and 110 (fire).

Be alert to your surroundings and remain vigilant in crowded places popular with foreign nationals, including during festival periods.

If you cancel your trip, the amount of TCS paid is non-refundable.

Upon validating the PAN, if it is found that you have not filed your income tax returns for the previous two years and the aggregate TCS and TDS exceed INR 50,000, an additional TCS (5/20%, as the case may be) will be collected from you or the booking will be cancelled and cancellation charges will apply.

If the PAN-AADHAR is not linked, a higher TCS rate will be applicable, and TCS credit will not appear on Form 26/AIS/TIS, and TCS certificates will not be available.

Outward remittance under LRS cannot continue if PAN-AADHAR is not linked.

The user is liable to pay tax collected at source (TCS) on booking an overseas tour package at an appropriate rate in compliance with section 206C (1G)(B) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. BalmyTrip Holidays will deposit the collected TCS amount with the government and issue a suitable document/certificate to the user.

The user is required to provide a valid PAN of user/traveler(s) when booking an overseas tour package with BalmyTrip Holidays. The user understands and agrees that BalmyTrip Holidays will validate the PAN at the time of booking or at a later stage to check compliance with section 206CC of the Income Tax Act.

The user agrees that if the PAN is invalid or does not belong to the user/traveler(s), BalmyTrip has the right to cancel the booking in compliance with the law and process a refund as per the payment and cancellation policy.
