  • In the event of a complete lockdown. A complete lockdown (deadlock) refers to the absolute standstill/haul of all travel services in accordance with Indian government orders.
  • Complete lockdown means everything stands still as per government orders. For example, flights being suspended, hotels shut down, and public/private transport stopped.
  • Partial lockdown means flight services are on, hotels are open, and transport services are open. Partial lockdown does not qualify for a free trip reschedule facility given that the travel services, though limited, are still open, and you can still travel by following the respective guidelines.
  • In an unfortunate event of a client being tested Covid-19 positive before (48-96 hours) of trip departure.
  • Most of the interstate travel, as per the current updates, need a negative Covid-19 report from recommended ICMR labs, and tests must be done within 48-96 hours before your scheduled travel date. The timelines of Covid-19 test (48-96 hours) are decided by respective state and central governments and tend to change in the future.
  • A valid Covid-19 report, in an unfortunate event of a client being tested positive for the Covid-19 virus, is mandatory to get the trip rescheduled. Reports will be further validated for authenticity. Any mismatch or presenting a false report will strictly lead to immediate trip cancellation with no refund leading to 100% of the trip amount as a trip loss.
  • Trip rescheduling comes with a certain validity that changes as per different locations.
  • Trip rescheduling can only be done at different seasons of travel. Ideally, every location has 3 travel seasons (Low, High, and Peak Season). If your trip is booked for the Low season, free trip reschedule will be provided in the Low season given the fact the charges for the Low season are lesser as compared to High and Peak season.
  • Should you wish to hop from Low to High or Peak season under a free trip rescheduling program, you must pay the extra charges/fair difference of the land package for peak and high season travel.
  • Airlines do not come under our scope as we do not own the flights and are solely a service provider on behalf of the airlines. The money you pay to us for airlines goes to airlines on your behalf. We strictly follow the cancellation/rescheduling policies as per the airlines.
  • In an event where a client purchased the flights with us and wishes to reschedule, we try our level best to negotiate with the airlines. The final decision to support our request entirely lies with the airlines. BalmyTrip, under no circumstances, will be held responsible for any losses, delayed replies from the airlines.
  • BalmyTrip must be informed at least 45 days in advance about your new travel dates to make necessary reservations under the free trip rescheduling program.
  • Future travel dates may have some changes in car/ferry/speed boat seating capacity and changes in hotel facilities. While we cannot predict future travel conditions, please be prepared to adjust accordingly.
  • We will follow trip cancellation/payment policies as per our original agreement at the time of booking. Trip rescheduling will not give trip cancellation flexibility. This is a one-time exception and only applicable for trip reschedule. Any other future modifications will incur 100% of the trip loss.
  • BalmyTrip holds the right to revise the itinerary and hotels for any situation beyond our control and provide the best alternate options available.
  • In case agreed hotels/activities partners are shutdown/bankrupt for future travel dates, BalmyTrip will provide alternate options best in the company’s scope.
  • We have seen cases where clients have taken trip rescheduling facilities for granted by directly reaching the partners and negotiating in the backend against the business ethics of BalmyTrip. Should we find any cases in the future,
  • BalmyTrip may take strict actions, including trip cancellation leading to 100% trip loss.
  • Clients must clear 100% of the payment as per the agreed payment and cancellation policies to get free trip rescheduling. We urge our clients to follow timelines as per the payment cycle to avoid late payment charges and inconvenience.
  • No exception to the policies/defaulting in payment is allowed.
