Guwahati – Kaziranga Tour | 2N/3D
Overview
Kaziranga National Park is a well known national park of India situated in between two districts of Assam - Golaghat and Nagaon. The park is located on the banks of river Brahmaputra. It has been declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Kaziranga was declared as a Tiger reserve in the year 2006 as it had the highest density of tigers of all the protected areas in the world. The park also shelters huge breeding populations of elephants, swamp deer and wild water buffalo. It is also recognized as a prominent birdlife area by Birdlife International for conserving varied species of birdlife.
Itinerary
On arrival at Guwahati airport meet with our representative and drive to Kaziranga. Upon arrival transfer to the wildlife resort. Overnight stay at resort.
Early morning elephant safari 05:30 am to 06:30 am. in Kaziranga wildlife park. Wake up call half an hour before the safari ride. Return back to wildlfe resort for breakfast. After breakfast enjoy the jeep safari (either central or western range) to watch wild animals, birds and specious animals on their natural habitats. Return to lodge for lunch. After lunch going for jeep safari (if visited central range in the morning then western range or vice versa. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.
Morning after breakfast drive to Guwahati. On arrival transfer to the airport / railway station for onward connection.
